UPDATE: Breauna Vaughn has been found safe, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. On Wednesday, Jan. 24, authorities from the sheriff's office reported that Vaughn was found safe. Further details were not disclosed.

Local law enforcement is actively seeking assistance in the search for 17-year-old Breauna Vaughn, who mysteriously disappeared in the vicinity of Estacada and Eagle Creek. The young Oregonian left her home unexpectedly, leaving behind essential items including her phone, cash, coat, and vital medications.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office reports that Breauna was last observed on Thursday in the mentioned areas. She is described as being approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing around 115 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. The Sheriff's Office noted that Breauna might be dressed in a black hat, a white hooded sweatshirt, a black vest, and dark jeans, based on their latest information from Monday.

The concerning aspect of her disappearance is that Breauna departed without several crucial items: her phone, money, a coat, and her medications.

Those who might have any information about Breauna Vaughn's current whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Sheriff's Office through their non-emergency number at 503-655-8211, or in urgent cases, to call 911.

This incident closely follows another case handled by the Portland Police Bureau. Emily Brallier, 16, was previously reported missing after she was last seen leaving Franklin High School on January 2, failing to return to her residence near Southeast Woodstock Boulevard and Southeast 65th Avenue.

Concerns were raised for Emily, particularly because she was without her medication. Fortunately, an update from January 5 by the Portland Police Bureau’s Missing Persons Unit revealed that Emily was found safe the previous night in Hillsboro. The authorities thanked everyone involved in the search for their support and efforts.
