The Row River Trail to Covered Bridges in Oregon

The Row River Trail near Cottage Grove and Dorena Oregon is the perfect place for a leisurely walk, an easy bike ride, or a horse ride through the country. This 17-mile paved trail used to be a railroad line, but was paved over as part of the Rails-To-Trails program. Whether you want to explore the entire trail in a day, or just do one section at a time, this is the perfect trail in Oregon for a relaxing day out in nature.

The Row River Trail Hike


The Row River Trail (Row is pronounced like cow) has many trailheads and access points, so you can explore different parts of the trail at your leisure.

One major point of interest is the Mosby Creek Covered Bridge which is located just off the trail. This white covered bridge was built in 1920 and restored in 1990.

Others will enjoy the scenic views of the Row River, Dorena Lake, Smith Creek, Flat Creek, and Mosby Creek.
